fill a tray with water. blow, fan, stir, dab, and drag paint or colored ink across its surface. put a sheet of washi paper on top to stain it with the floating art.

though called “turkish” paper marbling by europeans, this design technique was developed in east asia, central asia, and the islamic world. it is an important part of turkic, tajik, indian, and other asian and middle eastern cultures.

So today Angelina Jolie had double mastectomy, which is the removal of one’s breasts, to prevent Breast cancer. So instead of praising Angelina on her bravery, men on Twitter decided to ridicule her, even calling her stupid for removing her breasts. For those of you on Tumblr that are attacking Feminists about being delusional about sexism against women and misogyny here’s your fucking proof that sexism and misogyny exists. 

This beyond sickens me.

this is fucking disgusting. you have NO idea what this does to a woman or makes a woman feel like to have something so serious taken from her. my mom had a double mastectomy because she had breast cancer, she fought it 4 times and it’s been HORRIBLE for her. do you know how awful it is to hear you mom talk about how much she hates her body? sometimes it goes far beyond that. so to any men who are disrespecting angelina for such a decision, FUCK YOU. for real. breasts don’t make a woman who she is, all women are beautiful whatever shape they are and whatever they have or lack. this is so fucking gross and upsetting.
